In applications like characterization of T cell receptor population and RNA transcriptome measurements, quantifying molecules across many orders of magnitude, i.e., high dynamic range, is critical to understanding important developmental or disease states.

Current methods to quantify either DNA or RNA with high dynamic range, quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and unique molecular identifiers (UMIs), have limitations. BillionToOne developed a patent-pending, novel assay called dilution tagging that allows nucleic acid quantification over several orders of magnitude while significantly reducing the number of required sequencing reads.

In the poster presentation, we show that dilution tagging highly correlates with UMI based counting and is up to 62x more efficient than UMI-based counting.

For any inquiries, please email support@billiontoone.com
